We’ve noticed that 2016 has taken a throwback moment from the ’70s with the bell sleeves, denim flares, and even the boho-chic maxi dress.

The bohemian maxi dress is an effortless silhouette that can be styled so many ways. I picked up this crisscross, high-slit Maxi dress at Forever21 right before spring break. Forever21 has such a great collection of spring clothing and also accessories that are right on trend.

I paired this Maxi with my Banana Republic silver flat chain necklace and wool hat from Forever21 to create that cool breezy look. The crisscross back of this Maxi is my favorite part. I’m not going to lie though, it’s extremely challenging to put on (especially by yourself), but it’s worth it once you’re all tied in.
