Happy Monday guys! I did a quick review of Origins Clear Improvement active charcoal face mask and here are my thoughts:

If you all read my skin care products for hormonal acne post, you know that skin care has always been one of my top priorities. I have struggled with hormonal acne and blemishes that refuse to go away for years.

I thought since charcoal masks have been all the rage right now – why not?

This Origins Clear Improvements  face mask with active bamboo charcoal, white china clay and lecithin acts like a magnet to draw out pore-cloggers and dissolve impurities. The white China clay works to absorb environmental toxins and lecithin dissolves impurities. This product is meant to help remove environmental toxins and dirt that clog pores. It also aids in helping facial skin look less overcast by leaving it clarified and refreshed.

Application: Lather on a decent amount of product to ensure that the mask was evenly distributed on my skin, and then the wait 5-10 minutes.

Initially, you should feel a cooling sensation on your skin that is very relaxing. Then your skin should feel noticeably tighter as the mask drys and hardens. After it is fully dried, rinse off the product with lukewarm and pat dry.

So, does Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask clear skin?

Yes! I noticed that my hormone related breakouts seemed to decrease considerably, which made my acne prone skin extremely happy! I also noticed my blackheads diminished. This mask is a great investment at $26 and will help keep your acne and oil in check.
