Hi guys, I just thought I’d update you on what’s going on in my life: January has been a great start to the year for me, my career and my relationship.  

If any of you read new year’s resolution post, you saw that my word for 2017 is BOLD. This year is not just about having determination for Black + Black — it is about taking risks, being courageous, and feeling confident in all that I do for my site. This has inspired me to start on a special project that I cannot wait to introduce to you all in a later post! 

As for my career, in November I started working at Michael Kors. Within that short period of time, I have been asked to interview for a promotion. Working in the fashion industry is a dream of mine so I am extremely excited. Wish me luck. 😉

My boyfriend Graham and I celebrated our six year anniversary in December. For my gift, he got us tickets to go see The Weeknd in Charlotte! We are both huge Weeknd fans and saw him back in 2013 before he became Starboy. I’ve never been to Charlotte before so I am looking forward to doing some exploring while we’re there. 

We’re also looking for a new apartment are trying to decide between a high-rise or garden style? So if any of you have suggestions please comment below!
